What you'd do
- Perform and review balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Prepare, enter, and review journal entries and other month-end deliverables for month-end close.
- Assist with preparing reports, schedules, and reconciliations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain GAAP-compliant accounting records across general ledger areas including cash, sales & use tax, payroll entries, and accruals.
- Assist with annual and interim audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and reconciliations.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies and contribute to updating and improving procedures.
- Recommend process enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.Qualifications for the Accountant position include but are not limited to
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
