Summary:
The Summer College Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship experience that provides undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to attend development workshops, network, and be part of our company. Our college interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored under their respective managers, and continue to develop throughout the entire summer. Through the internship program, our interns can attend development workshops that are focused on key business concepts. Interns may work within the skills-based tracks of Business Administration, Information Technology, Actuarial, Human Resources, Analytics & Data, Communications, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Project Management, Clinical Studies, Customer Experience, Digital Operations, and other non-technical and/or technical based degree programs.
Essential Accountabilities:
What you'd do
- This is a paid 10-week summer internship from the first Monday in June to the second Friday in August (up to 40 hours per week).
- Interns may reside in either a technical or non-technical area.
- Development workshops are provided to help with the transition from school to the corporate environment.
- Housing is not provided as part of our program.
- Specific duties will vary by assignment; specific divisional callouts are listed below.
- The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise Records and Information Management initiatives.
- Key responsibilities may include assisting with the operationalization of retention policies across SharePoint sites, supporting Information Enterprise Repository (IER) content ingestion activities, and participating in RIM program governance and oversight processes.
- Additional opportunities include supporting operational reviews, developing training and awareness materials, assisting with file migration efforts, creating team communications, documenting procedures, and helping track program metrics and compliance activities.
- Through these projects, the intern will gain exposure to records management, information governance, Microsoft 365, data lifecycle management, and organizational change management practices.
- Works with a mentor and supports key strategic projects.
- Completes work assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and individual qualifications.
- Performs a mix of technical and/or non-technical tasks that will cover a broad range of business-related projects.

- Preferred (but not required) experience with: Microsoft 365, SharePoint, project work, documentation, training development, process improvement, and student leadership activities is desirable.
- Candidates should have an interest in information governance, records management, data lifecycle management, compliance, and emerging areas such as AI governance and digital transformation.
- High School diploma along with proof of continuous college enrollment (enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program).
- Must be in good academic standing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences and interface with staff at all levels of the company.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail changing environment and deliver high-quality work product.
- Ability to work well in a team establishing good working relationships with peers.
